Loom for Desktop is the world's most powerful video recorder.
The silver lining is this has affirmed my belief that more people should learn how to code. So they can fix horrible software like this. They were responsive to support; but all they told me was that the video was gone and there was no way to get it back.
Our team have used it for 3 weeks and I've lost count of the amount of colleagues who have praised the videos we create with it.
We've been on the beta for this, and it's great! Not being limited by the browser and having high quality exports is top-notch 🙃
I use this all the time and it keeps getting better. I have a chromebook and was really frustrated with solutions like Snagit, nothing seemed to work on ChromeOS. This nails it for me.
I use Loom weekly for internal updates, which have been positively received and appreciated by my team.
It's pretty easy to post a recording to Slack, and include your own message with the post. People have been actively using the timeline emoji feature to react to different parts of my updates --- which has helped me get a pulse of how everyone is doing or what they care about.
Ever since I've gotten access to the call to action, whitelabeling, and custom thumbnails --- I've gone bananas with customizing the videos to make them more fun and surprising.
Additionally, Loom has been helpful with support replies to users or for an added personal touch to an otherwise ordinary email.
