I've been building Loamly for the past year, and I'm excited to finally share it.
🔍 The problem
I use ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity for maybe half my research now. Looking for a tool? ChatGPT. Comparing vendors? Claude. Need a recommendation? Perplexity.
But here's the thing: most of that traffic doesn't show up in analytics. When someone finds you through AI and visits your site, Google Analytics just calls it "direct traffic." You have no idea it happened.
AI is becoming the new search, but we have almost no visibility into it.
⚙️ What Loamly does
Two things:
1. Shows what AI platforms actually say about your brand. Real queries, real answers, across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity. See how you're being recommended (or not), and track how that changes over time.
2. Detects when AI-referred visitors land on your site. We use RFC 9421 HTTP signatures for ChatGPT Operator (cryptographically verified), and navigation timing patterns for others. Finally turns that invisible "direct" traffic into something you can measure.
💡 Why I built this
I was doing SEO and growth work and realized the game is changing. Traditional search still matters, but AI discovery is growing fast. Brands that understand this early will have an edge. I wanted a tool to see what's actually happening.
