LemMeBuyIt is the retail data layer for AI agents, resellers and developers: live prices, 12-month price history, cross-retailer compare, ASIN and Buy Box mapping, and clearance signals across 100+ U.S. retailers. Free MCP server, one-click sign-in.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Aidan, founder of LemMeBuyIt. 👋
Most retail data is stale, scraped or guessed. I'd ask an AI assistant what something cost, and it would answer with total confidence and get it wrong. These models are great at reasoning. They just can't see the shelf.
So we built the retail data layer for AI agents, resellers and developers. LemMeBuyIt is a free hosted MCP server (https://mcp.lemmebuyit.com/mcp). Add it to Claude, Cursor, Grok Bot, ChatGPT or any MCP agent and connect in one click with your browser. There's nothing to install and no key to paste. Your agent can then pull:
- Live price checks and 12-month price history, so "on sale" can be checked against what the store actually charged
- Cross-retailer price comparison across 100+ U.S. retailers, matched by UPC/ASIN rather than fuzzy name matching
- Amazon ASIN and Buy Box mapping
- Inventory and clearance signals, plus live promotions and coupon codes
- Resale flips ranked by ROI after marketplace fees, for resellers
A real example from this week: the LEGO Creator Medieval Horse Knight Castle (31168) was $129.99 at Barnes & Noble, Best Buy and Target, $184.69 on Amazon and $219.95 at Walmart. Same box, matched by barcode, $90 apart. That's the kind of thing I want every agent to catch.
Behind it, our homepage counters showed 292M+ ASIN mappings, 478M+ price-history records and about 2.8M products refreshed in 24 hours when I checked them on Oct 26. We also have a free Chrome/Edge extension that shows the same cross-store compare on the product page while you shop.
Here's what I'd love from you:
1. Which store or category is missing for you?
2. If you build agents, what should a shopping tool return that we don't return yet?
3. Anything that confused you in setup?
If you're building AI shopping agents, resale and sourcing tools, pricing engines or retail-intelligence workflows, stop letting your agents guess. Give them real retail data.
I'll be here all day answering every comment. Plans start free: https://lemmebuyit.com/pricing
Using ChatGPT? LemMeBuyIt was just approved as a ChatGPT app: https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plug...
Interesting idea. How are you keeping track of all the different Retailer Product ID/skus? Some retailers don't list the upc of the product
@davidoduk Great question. We don't scrape anything. All of our data comes in through direct backend feeds from brands and retailers, so the retailer IDs, SKUs and UPCs come from the source instead of being pulled off a product page. That means a retailer not showing the UPC on its site doesn't stop us from matching the product.
Honestly, getting the data wasn't the biggest job. Cleaning it up was. Every retailer formats IDs, titles and attributes differently, so most of the work went into normalizing it and mapping each retailer's own ID to a UPC and an Amazon ASIN (292M+ ASIN mappings so far). That cleanup is what makes it workable for an agent to compare the same product across stores.
checking out that clearance signals feature. i might get sucked into a comparison rabbit hole though, which i always think is gonna be quick, but oops, there goes an hour.
@therayess Ha, that rabbit hole is exactly why we built it! The idea is your agent does the comparing, so you get the answer in one question instead of an hour of tabs. Ask it something like "anything on clearance at Target or Walmart under $50 in toys?" and it brings back the matches with live prices. Would love to hear what you find, and if anything feels slow or clunky, tell me and we'll fix it.
The browser extension is an added bonus if you prefer to go right to the retailers website.
seeing that live price feature, might have to test it the next time i'm debating a buy. but knowing me, i'll keep refreshing it just to see how it changes over time. could be addicting.
Interesting product, best of luck with today's launch
