As someone who often reads legal documents but doesn’t have a legal background, Layman Law has been incredibly useful.
It helps me understand complex contract language by translating it into plain English — quickly and clearly. I’ve used it to review service agreements, lease terms, and even website privacy policies. The browser extension is a nice bonus, especially when I'm reviewing legal content online.
It saves me time and gives me more confidence before reaching out to a lawyer. Definitely a great tool for everyday legal clarity.
A super useful tool that I used in my regular work, for tax laws, and even foreign contracts. I used this when considering real estate purchase in Japan — and it was really helpful. While this doesn’t replace a lawyer, it really helps get you up to speed on the basic understanding of legalese.
Love this idea! So much room to disrupt the legal space with AI and this is a great approach. Really excited for where you can potentially take this as it grows
