Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Alex, and honestly, I'm both excited and a bit nervous to share Language Lantern with you—it's my first-ever app! I've always struggled with traditional vocabulary apps because their images and associations rarely resonated with me personally. I kept thinking how amazing it would be if I could make visuals that reflect my own associations, not someone else's. When I realized that AI could visualize any concept, it clicked: maybe I could actually create this app myself. Even though I had no coding experience at all, I decided to take a leap and applied to Microsoft's startup program. Surprisingly, they accepted me, and from that moment, I knew I had to make this app a reality. With zero coding skills, I started by copying code generated by ChatGPT and Claude, and later transitioned to using Cursor. Step by step, guided by my passion rather than expertise, Language Lantern took shape. Now, after lots of learning, mistakes, and determination, Language Lantern is here.
