👋 hey all, pherkan here.
sometimes i like to step out of my usual workspace, grab a coffee, and get work done somewhere different; a change of vibes, a bit of inspiration.
but i kept running into the same frustrations:
visited cafés that allowed laptops… but the coffee was too burnt or just plain bad.
visited cafés that serve amazing (single-origin) specialty coffee… but laptops aren’t welcome, or the place is just too small to get any work done.
most platforms only focus on one of these: either laptop-friendly spots or specialty coffee.
i wanted both... and yes, they do exist (!).
that’s why i built koffiework, a crowd-powered platform for discovering cafés that serve specialty coffee, are laptop/work-friendly, or ideally both. oh and we also highlight different roasters from around the world, because why not.

Having to read reviews and match all the conditions to the space you want can be really tiring.
Do you have plans to expand to more cities in the future?
Good excuse to travel and build a product! Surprised to see Chiang Mai not on there yet.
