What do you think? …

Nikita Shimkus
Hey there, I've been building a 3rd party keyboard for iOS called Klava and am so stoked to finally share it here. If you're into mobile OS design / unique input methods / full privacy – join in! ---> Why did Klava came to be and why posting here? Klava started because I missed BlackBerry keyboard's above-key predictions dearly. That is, suggestions are displayed above individual keys as you type – flick them up to input words! Then came the realisation that I also really miss some iconic design languages of the past: from skeuomorphism to flat tiles of WindowsPhone – and have been looking for something like that on iOS for ages. Lastly, I realised that everything should be highly customisable and privacy-first – cause we all prefer typing in a different way! So in a nutshell, Klava was made to make typing fun, customisable, private, fuelled by hardcore nostalgia (and deep respect) for various OSs and design languages ✌🏻️ ---> Roadmap? Near future: more themes, more features, more languages, optimisation! Mid-term: Android! It's been an awesome ride so far, and I would love to hear your thoughts & ideas :)
