I'm excited to share with you my latest creation, Jamboss.
It's pretty simple - I made this app because I wanted my parents to have fun with AI music without having to pay for a subscription and navigating complicated user interfaces.
If you or your folk just want to make fun songs with AI and share them with your friends easily, Jamboss is your app.
Here's the deal:
-> 🥳 Everyone gets 20 free songs (which is enough for most)
-> 🎵 You can make songs from a prompt or by providing lyrics and selecting a style
-> 🧑🎨 It's designed to be easy enough for anyone to use
I built this solo in my spare time. It's not perfect, but I'm proud of how it turned out. If you try it and have thoughts on how to make it better, I'm all ears.
The app is only available on iOS right now but if we make it to the top 10, I pinky promise it'll be on Android within a week or two.

P.S. If you want to generate more songs, the app will ask you for 99 cents, which is just a way for me not to go bankrupt in case someone decides to automate the API. Alternatively, send me a DM and I'll give you lots of credits!

@lifenautjoe - this some dope stuff! I know a big pain point is creators looking for copyright free BGM for their video or stream. I don’t know how many companies are solving that problem. But without lyrics and vocals, I assume the task for AI could be easier.
@tonyhanded did you get a chance to try out the vocals-free mode? I know there's at least 3 YouTuber's with over 10k subscribers using a song from Jamboss in their intro :-)
Congrats on the launch @lifenautjoe ! sounds like a lot of fun, especially for those of us without any musical talent. How customizable are the songs in terms of genres and styles? Can users mix different styles in one song?
@lumi_nertan Hi Lumi! There's 2 ways to create songs, from a description and lyrics. If you create from a description, you can just explain exactly what you want, for example " a techno mariachi" song like this one
Alternatively, if you create a song from custom lyrics, you can select the genre right below and if you scroll all the way to the right, there's a custom option where you can make up your own genre, like "bethoven rap".

For genres, you can describe any style or mix of styles you want. As for instruments, while you can't pick specific ones, you can describe the sound you're after in your prompt.

Loved loved loved! It's super cool. The songs based on prompts are really awesome and I'm sure it's gonna be an engagement builder wherever and whenever it is. Are you planning to monetize this?
@german_merlo1 Hi Germán, thank you ! So far, I'm trying to see what the main usecases are first to later evaluate some product fine tuning on those that might come with a small monetization component.
