Hello Makers,
If you're building a startup:
Would you pay for a tool that builds YOUR brand, or your whole TEAM'S brand?
(And why?)
I'm at this exact fork with isla
Here's the thing:
Path 1: B2C - founders building their personal brand
The user IS the distribution
One voice, one story, one person to build around
They post about the tool they use
Viral loops are built in
But churn hits when life gets busy
Path 2: B2B - founding teams building a brand together
Teams amplify each other
Stickier (team commitment > individual habit)
But selling to 3 co-founders = 3x the convincing
And most early teams don't prioritize brand yet
I thought this was about ACV and sales cycles.
It's actually about who spreads the word faster.
But I'm genuinely unsure
our launch is coming soon, free trial for PH community.
Right now, I'm leaning B2C first, not because it's easier, but because the people who need it most are also the ones who will spread it fastest
We built Isla after feeling overwhelmed by the “content game.”
Everyone says: “Post every day!”. "Founder led marketing" But nobody tells you how to find ideas, stay consistent, or how to sound like you.
So I built a system that does this for founders:
1) Isla builds your personal brand by understanding what’s unique about you and scores it against other founders.
2) Every day, it tracks what’s hot across X, Reddit, and the news, and matches those trends to your brand and your goals.
3) It also pulls from your internal world: meeting transcripts, notes, milestones, and stories so you can build in public.
4) Then it tells you exactly the best content directions everyday
Most tools help you write better. They assume you already know what to write everyday.
The real struggle comes before writing:
What should I post today? Why this? And how does it fit my brand and my goals?
The Truth?
You already have the content.
You just need structure, momentum, and a little push
It started as a small experiment, and now it’s a tool hundreds of founders use.
To celebrate our launch, we have a free trial to PH community!
Thanks for checking it out, can’t wait to hear your thoughts 🙏

@emilalsgndr thanks Emil, isla is for founders and busy people. Our goal is to help you show up, build credibility and attract opportunities without spending hours per day!!
@omar_figueroa the idea of isla is to work in parallel (while you sleep) and to provide you proactive actions and content directions even before you ask!
I am interested. How can I try it out for a trial?
@tham_yikfoong free trial is available on signing up Tham. You can also write to me and I will provide you access!
This looks completely amazing. I started to set up my profile and then realized my LinkedIn account is way overdue for an upgrade, especially for my profile.
I will be upgrading my LinkedIn profile this week and I’m anxious to try this application. Very, very nice.
@dubd59 Hello Darrell, trust me this is common. You can edit things up under your profile inside isla (in case things feel off brand). We use the information to generate content directions and search for opportunities for you!
