If you're building a startup: Would you pay for a tool that builds YOUR brand, or your whole TEAM'S brand?
(And why?) I'm at this exact fork with isla Here's the thing: Path 1: B2C - founders building their personal brand The user IS the distribution One voice, one story, one person to build around They post about the tool they use Viral loops are built in But churn hits when life gets busy Path 2: B2B - founding teams building a brand together Teams amplify each other Stickier (team commitment > individual habit) But selling to 3 co-founders = 3x the convincing And most early teams don't prioritize brand yet I thought this was about ACV and sales cycles. It's actually about who spreads the word faster. But I'm genuinely unsure our launch is coming soon, free trial for PH community. Right now, I'm leaning B2C first, not because it's easier, but because the people who need it most are also the ones who will spread it fastest
