This is my first Product Hunt launch! Say hello to help@isthisphishy.io, a friendly email address that you can forward any and all emails to (for free), and you’ll get a response telling you why or why not the email is a phishing scam. Lots of banks have an email address that you can send suspicious banking emails to (for example, spoof@citi.com), and a security team member will tell you whether it’s likely to be a phishing attempt. Wouldn’t it be great if people could use a service like this for any email?

Hi! From a UX standpoint maybe this could also be done with a chrome extension that would flag the inbox 📥 to label phishing. That way I could install it on my grandparent’s browser without them needing to decide which ones to forward. Love the idea! Congrats on your first launch 🚀

Congrats on the launch! Although I am savvy when it comes to detecting scams in my emails my parents unfortunately are not! I see this tool being very helpful to them. Do you ever plan on charging?
