What do you think? …

I am super happy to share what I have been working on for the last period. Inbox AI is shaping up to be an invaluable little tool in my own workflows. I use it to processes incoming mail, send tasks from anything on my screen to Tana (my task manager), and run advanced commands right from Raycast. It integrates seamlessly with anything though API or file, I connected it with Notion, Obsidian, Tana, and much more. I am excited to see what you think!

@dreetje this is super impressive! Nice work. It seems like this shouldn't be called "Inbox AI" though, as it's almost like IFTTT meets TalkTastic for macOS meets Raycast...! Not that you're asking, but I would consider moving this away from email and focusing on general workflow productivity and integrations!

@chrismessina you might be right. I really struggled to find a good description, so it felt safer focusing on the email part, but I should move the emphasis. I do kind of like the inbox name, so will probably keep it for now. Happy you like the app!

@dreetje how about AIBox? :)
Noah Fleming
Does it work with outlook for mac?
Andre Foeken
@noah_fleming1 You can have Apple Mail running in the background and not use it. That way the processing works, but Apple Mail needs to be setup.

This is looking great. Is there any way to integrate it with Raycast?
Andre Foeken
@semanser Yeah, you can call each Inbox AI action using a x-callback-url which you can wrap in Raycast Quicklinks (ie. do an action on selected text)
Drew
This seems like an interesting product.

THIS is the killer app of LLM's in my opinion. Can I use it with any IMAP server of just Apple Mail?
Andre Foeken
@mikestaub Apple Mail for now, will look into IMaP ;)
