"Wellness" apps are too nice. They ask you politely to stop scrolling, but when the dopamine hits, you just hit 'Ignore' or uninstall the app. Your willpower isn't the problem the endless dopamine"loop" is.

I’m Oliver, the developer of Hush.
I built Hush because I realized that life is short, and I was spending more than 1 day a week just looking at my phone. I needed a tool to take back this time. Every "wellness" app I tried was too polite. They’d ask me nicely to stop scrolling, but I’d just hit "Ignore" or uninstall them the second I felt a craving.
Hush is different. It’s a digital drill sergeant.
I designed it for the people who are tired of being gentle with their addictions. Hush is a premium utility built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to provide what your phone lacks: Physical Friction.
Why Hush is "Aggressive":
The Nuclear Option: Once you commit to a focus session, Strict Mode prevents uninstallation and force-stops. No "just one more minute" shortcuts.
Intentional Friction: Hush doesn't just block apps; it makes them annoying to open. If you try to break your focus, you’ll be rejected and trying to remove the blocking forces you to take a mindfulness break to reflect over what you are doing. This breaks the mindless muscle memory of scrolling.
I’m currently in the comments all day to answer questions about the tech, the "Strict Mode" logic, or how much time you’re currently losing to your phone.
Special for Hunters: I’m offering a 3-month extended trial of our Premium Strict Mode. Just use the code HUSHHUNTER
Let’s stop scrolling and start living. What app is currently stealing most of your time?
