Woah, Givell sounds lit! Freemium content creation is a great way to get fans engaged. But how will you make sure creators can actually earn a living on the platform without paywalls?

@p_val it’s a great question, we don’t expect creators earning a living off our platform, rather having and additional source of income. Currently our platform shows that creators earn more with Givell the with platforms like Patreon and Buy Me a Coffee. If we are talking about platforms like Patreon, creators have to spend an additional chunk of time, creating content specifically for it, and at approximately 100k subscribers getting around 100$ in monthly subscriptions (it of course can vary from creator to creator, but we are talking from our experience and knowledge). We have found that fans would rather send one time donations in exchange of more content, and this also saves time for creators, since they don’t have to create specifically for Patreon (you know, time equals money)

@p_val I’m late to answer haha 😂 great explanation Kirilo. Yeah, we have multiple use cases with creators switching from Buy Me A Coffee and Patreon resulting in a 200-300 % boost in income. In our opinion, paywalls are the main reason for the low creator income if you are not a million+ follower creator

Amazed to see Givell on ProductHunt ! As someone said : "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". We hope to reach as much creators as possible to enchance the way they engage with their fans ! Everything is still to be done along with stimulating tech challenges !
