Gedd.it finds and verifies promo codes for the exact product you’re buying. Paste any product link and it automatically searches the web, tests codes in real time, and shows you the one with the best discount. No browser extension needed. It also preserves any existing affiliate links, so creators still get credit.

@rsugranes I plan to get an Amazon certification, so I’ll have the chance to test it :) Congrats on your launch!

Ramiro, why haven't you launched this a week ago when I booked such a pricy hotel? :D Just tell me why :D
Gedd.it
@busmark_w_nika haha sorry! We got your back on the future ones 😁

@rsugranes You need to create a time machine now :D

Nice launch and the real-time verification idea is neat. But I'm skeptical about scale, merchant rotations and regional rules are a nightmare. Ramiro saying ~65% auto success is honest, but how will that improve when traffic spikes on big sales? I got burned before by "SAVE20" codes that looked legit and then failed at checkout. Would love to see rate limits, retry logic, and a transparency dashboard for which stores is fully supported. Also, does the cloud browser approach respect merchant ToS or could that trigger blocks?

@lyndsay_h Thank you! Our approach is to use an AI agent that actually goes through checkout and tries codes in a live session. That’s how we handle the constant changes in merchant rules, regional logic, and code rotations without relying on static lists that would become stale. The ~65% number is our current baseline across a broad set of stores people try, but it improves as models get better and we make product improvements.
I like the idea of being able to see a list of all the sites where we can currently automatically verify all codes. We also want to shift from site-based to product-based in the future. So you search a product rather than a site and we show you all the retailers where we found it and prices we found with promo codes applied, if that makes sense.
On the cloud-browser side, some stores block agents today, but we think this is early. Merchants will inevitably decide which types of agents they want on their sites as this becomes more common. Since our use case is conversion-driven and we already partner with many brands, we expect the line to be drawn around intent, not automation. Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback!
I tried Gedd on a Black Friday deal earlier and it saved me from opening like 10 tabs. It actually verified a promo for the exact product, which was clutch since I had an affiliate link to preserve. I like that Ramiro is upfront about ~65% auto-verify rate, so you know what to expect. TBF it still failed on one checkout and I had to ask for manual verify, but support responded quickly. Overall it save me time and avoided the usual expired-code dance.

@karenapatchhh Love to hear Gedd.it helped you save already! We'll keep working on improving coverage and making it faster for more sites too. If any new feedback comes up as you use it more, just let me know!
I mostly buy software subscriptions and TBF a lot of those checkouts require login. Ramiro mentioned cloud browsers for testing — cool idea, but does that covers account-gated flows? Also curious how you handle multi-item carts; I tried adding two items on Amazon and it didn't work. Is there a roadmap for logged-in verification or is that considered too risky? LMK, I'd love to use this for subs but currently it feels half-ready for SaaS.
Gedd.it
@sherryje Thanks Sherry, I agree that it isn't quite as good yet for SaaS. It'll still find and rank codes for those sites, but we can't support most sites that require a login quite yet, but it's definitely on the roadmap! Multi-cart items I think is a good idea for the future too. We're not sure how to do it yet while preserving a very simple user experience, but maybe you can keep adding URLs when you're about to run Gedd.it to create that cart? Let us know if you have any suggestions
gonna run it on a couple of carts tonight. Used it earlier today on a pricey hotel and it found nothing, but that's more the hotel's fault than the tool. Love that there's no extension required, makes it less invasive for my workflow. Tbh I hope the auto-retry and price alerts gets smarter over the next weeks. Hard agree that keeping creator links is a thoughtful choice.
Gedd.it
@shaxxd Thanks! Looking forward to hearing any feedback you have as you try it more. Right now you can set up price alerts and we'll keep checking on our end and notify you if we ever see the price drop. Are there any particular additional settings that you'd like to have?

This is great timing for Black Friday.
Curious, when I search up a product, it says Unverified (enter your email to verify), what does this mean?
Congrats on launching!
Gedd.it
@alia_soni1 Thank you! What's happening in that case is that it tried to verify the codes it found for you, but it wasn't able to for some reason. This could be because it struggled to add the item to the cart or didn't find the promo code field for example. So we give users the option to enter their email when that happens and we'll check them manually on our end :)
