👋 Hello Product Hunt!
I’m Nemanja (pronounced Nemanya), founder of Fotny.

Almost three years ago, at my brother’s wedding, I was holding a printed photo from the photographer and thought, “This should be digital. I want to post it on Instagram.” That moment sparked the idea for Fotny.

Since then, the inexperienced maker and experienced engineer in me have built (and rebuilt) the product many times, adding plenty of features no one asked for. But I made myself a promise: if I kept building and never launched again, I’d stop doing side projects altogether. So - here we are. 🚀

Fotny isn’t a revolutionary product, but I believe it stands out in a few key ways:

• No registration, no app downloads, no accounts. Just verify your email to create events, or join via a link or QR code.
• A real free plan. No credit card required, no hidden traps. It’s limited in storage and features but perfect for small gatherings.
• AI-powered image recognition. It filters out inappropriate content and helps guests find their photos among hundreds with just one selfie.

Over the next few months, I’ll focus on adding support for video clips, improving stability and performance and finalizing a portal for professional photographers so they can sell and monetize their photos directly through Fotny.

Hi Nemanja, I’ve used Fotny for a bachelorette 3-day trip with 13 of other girls (I was not the bride). We had so many photos! Each one of us has over a hundred. We uploaded all to Fotny and used the photo recognition to filter for our own ones. It was also convenient for the bride to just send the link to her family and other friends instead of constantly sharing photos and being on the phone half of the trip. It’s a perfect and cost-friendly solution for collecting photos when traveling with a bigger group (especially when you are acquaintances). Highly recommend!!

I used it for my diving trip and it worked very well. People loved the AI recognition feature because everyone got their pictures without any effort.
