Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm Giovambattista, and I build FinderGit on my own. It launched here on April 29 as a Finder-style browser that shows every Git repo's branch and status in one window. Thanks to everyone who tried it back then!
Since then I've shipped 60 releases, and FinderGit has gone from showing you your repos to letting you work in them. The highlights:
1. Everyday Git, no terminal 🌿
Commit with AI-written messages (built in, with your own key, or with a model running on your Mac). Create, rename, merge, rebase and delete branches, and stash work in progress. When a pull hits a diverged branch, Merge and Rebase are offered right where it fails.
2. Every repository tells its story 📈
A dashboard for each repo: how alive it is, a year of commits, languages, contributors, latest releases. And one for your whole workspace, with everything that needs you on top.
3. GitHub and beyond 🌐
Read issues and pull requests inside the app, review threads included. Public repos on Codeberg, GitLab and Bitbucket fill in with no account or token.
4. Know what a repo runs before you open it 🛡
Repo Trust lists every script a repo can run on its own, flags when that changes after a pull, and catches the Shai-Hulud worm's dropper on any branch.
5. Get your disk back 🧹
Cleaning finds the node_modules, build output, DerivedData and caches your tools can rebuild. On my Mac the first scan found about 30 GB.
It's for developers who keep a lot of repos on their Mac (side projects, client work, forks) and want to see and act on all of them without a terminal per folder.

I'd love your feedback: what's the Git chore you still open a terminal for? That's what I'll look at next.
