In an internet far far away... Pierre from ScrapingBee built a simple but effective attribution script using cookies. Then Joost from Freddy Feedback started using it and proposed some fixes. There was a bit of back and forth on Twitter discussing improvements and then they joined forces to add some major features and make it free and open to the world. And here we are! Use the Feather Attribution script to: - Track UTM parameters, ref parameter and document.referrer - Store them client side - Fill the values into fields in your user registration page - You can then store these values in your back-end And that's it! No marketing software, no tracking pixels.
