I’m excited to introduce Extension Ranker to you today.
I started working with Chrome extensions five years ago, and ever since then, I’ve been focused on one question: How do you help an extension grow in a steady, predictable way?
Through continuous research, experiments, and hands-on work, I gradually formed a clear understanding of how Chrome Web Store search ranking actually works.
During this journey, I noticed something important. Many developers spend most of their time promoting their extensions on social media, usually to other developers, while paying little attention to Chrome Extension SEO. Nearly 75% of extensions have fewer than 1,000 users, not because they’re bad products, but simply because users never see them in search results.
This is why I built Extension Ranker. My goal is to make Chrome Extension SEO clearer, easier to act on, and more accessible to developers who want their work to be discovered.
