At a Higher Level - Episode #1 - Flow

LOVE this product. Kirby + Tommy and team are world class builders. It's become an invaluable tool in my toolkit for building new products. I use it as a way to both get a pulse of mass market consumer expectations and gut check product assumptions. Surveys of course can't tell you if the market will adopt your product, but they're invaluable at identifying what and where problems exist and to help sharpen your solution. The quality is night and day between other types of surveys / UX research I've done in the past, in large part because the respondents are answering questions in a more comfortable environment (eg on their own phone in their own house). The realtime results feels like magic.

Very interesting product! I'm curious to know how some responses are collected that quickly. Also, why selecting a number of expected responses (as shown in the demo) if you can always want or expect bigger results? Also, what criteria can you choose to target a more specific sample of participants?

@rubenwolff Great questions! 1. Responses are collected from our survey participant apps (iOS, Android). We have 1M+ users...so I guess thats how we can collect responses so quickly. 2. We used 50 responses in the demo b/c we wanted to film it all in one take and keep it under 5 minutes. 3. Age, ethnicity, region, political views, voting status, and parental status. This list will only increase over time. You can also include a qualifying question which be used to target more specific participants (i.e. Have you purchase something on Amazon in the past month?).
