Hi all! I developed Enliven because deep breathing is a great way to relieve stress, and I've personally found that keeping things feeling fresh with my breathing practice really helps me to enjoy it more and build it into a healthy routine. You can interact with all of the modes in Enliven using touch, so if you have a minute while riding the subway and want a little calm, you can bloom a flower or control the glow of the sun while exhaling. I was inspired to add in an optional motion control by a guided meditation that helped me through a stressful time, where you're instructed to place your hand on your stomach and feel the motion of your breath. And I added in control by voice/song/chant because vocalization is a fantastic way to pace the breath and relax, with some additional benefits. For example, self expression might feel therapeutic, and the noises and sensations that are produced by the sounds can be helpful for focusing attention. I hope you enjoy it!

I've been looking for a meditation app. I feel like Calm is too focused on celebrities, and I don't like Headspace's meditation teacher voice. I like the idea of making flowers bloom as part of meditation!

Beautiful. Relaxing. Fun! In a time of high anxiety, it is wonderful to get lost in the vividness of blooming flowers, the whirlwind of solar flares, and the flight of birds. After just two minutes of using this app, my heart rate lowers, my racing thoughts slow, and I find myself more able to focus.
