@florian @dalla_ Great launch! What’s the key differentiator that sets EmailCatcher apart from similar tools?
Luca Dalla Chiara
@florian @tonyabracadabra Thank you!! - It's free (The ONLY option for startuppers and indie hackers) - It focuses on solving 1 problem: collecting emails. - It's extremely simple to setup
Sam @CRANQ
Actually ideal for people in any business...The number of people who are capitalising over having made a Newsletter for themselves is off the scale - Personally can't recommend it enough. If you want customer retention & a solid user-base - This is what you should do.
Luca Dalla Chiara
@cranqnow Yes! Collecting emails should be a top priority for any business/startup/freelancer
Sam @CRANQ
@dalla_ How many emails have you collected to date?
Luca Dalla Chiara
@cranqnow about 200 in 4h.
Sam @CRANQ
@dalla_ That's pretty damn strong - How many you projecting? Or is it based on the number of users who get the product?

I love the simplicity! I used to use mailchimp for this. But it took a day to setup 😅 Mostly wading through their bloated website to figure things out. Might be simpler today with the help of ChatGPT as a guide but still.
Luca Dalla Chiara
@sentry_co Thanks André! Email collection is super important for startups and hackers as they must move fast. If EmailCatcher can save someone a day of setup, that's a huge win for us! New integration will come in handy as well.

Hey guys. Nice little tool! Congrats. Here are a couple of things I found when testing the tool. The "success message" needs to be editable ("thanks you"). There should be an option to delete the leads. Would be great if you could implement these changes. Cheers!
Luca Dalla Chiara
@danischenker Hi Dani, thank you for your feedback! We'll write this on our to-do list!
Dani Schenker🇨🇭
@dalla_ Ok, cool! By the way... came across another one... It would be great if the pop-up stays away when the user clicks the X. If they click through five pages, they have to close the pop-up five times.
Florian
@dalla_ @danischenker Good catch! Will try to fix this so that once the user closes the popup, wont appear for the next few hours.

Congrats on the launch, @dalla_ @floflo49. Love the idea. No fluff, just simple email collection. ❤️️ I know you are adding more integration but just a Zapier integration is more than enough.
Luca Dalla Chiara
@floflo49 @ashitvora Thank you Ashit for the feedback! We will definitely add integration on request of users.

Love the minimalist design!
Florian
@samcui I love you loved it! Stuff like this SHOULD be minimal and easy.
