Electron Fiddle lets you create and play with small Electron experiments. Start with a template & choose the version of Electron you want to run it with, and play around. Then, save your Fiddle either as a GitHub Gist or to a local folder. Once pushed to GitHub, anyone can quickly try your Fiddle out by just entering it in the address bar.
Electron Fiddle was a very useful tool for building and testing the desktop side of my project.
I already had a website, and with Electron I was able to bring that existing web experience into a real desktop application for both macOS and Windows. It made the process of experimenting, running, packaging, and testing much easier.
What mattered most was that Electron helped me turn the web-based product into a cross-platform desktop app without rebuilding everything from scratch. I could test ideas quickly, check how the app behaved, and move faster while preparing the desktop version.
Overall, I chose Electron Fiddle because it helped me create, test, and package desktop experiments quickly, especially while building for macOS and Windows.

iVox runs entirely on Electron. Solid, mature framework that let me ship a real Mac desktop app with web technologies I already understood.

Klyxshot is built on Electron 36. Multi-monitor capture with proper DPI scaling, native Windows installer via electron-builder, system tray integration — all of it just worked. The bundle size is ~95MB which is fine for a productivity tool.
