Hi everyone! I'm excited to launch Donut Browser, my open source anti-detect browser. It is the first anti-detect browser to offer unlimited profiles with no account required.
I began working on this project over a year ago as a tool for managing browser profiles, which later evolved into a proper anti-detect solution. I replaced all of my other browsers with it and I think it is a game-changer for privacy.
Around a month ago I added a paid plan with features useful for agency owners, marketers, and those doing browser automation. I already have a few paying customers. If you are one of them - thank you!
Happy for anyone to try it out. I'll be here to answer any questions! :)

This is really interesting.
How do you approach balancing usability with all the privacy/anti-detection features? Seems like a tricky tradeoff.
Thanks Ceci ! :) All the anti-detection stuff happens automatically under the hood. You just create a profile and start browsing. Each one gets its own fingerprint, cookies, and settings without you having to configure anything. Basically, the complexity stays hidden so the experience on top feels like any normal browser.

Really cool project! Am I able to run cron jobs to query LLMs with this?
Hi @irving_ai ! :) Yes, Donut is a competing tool to AdsPower and other commercial anti-detect solutions. Depending on what you need to do, it can likely match and exceed its functionality, but if there is something particular missing that you need - I'm happy to consider adding it.

@zhom Thank you. I’d also like to ask: assuming your core capabilities are roughly on par with theirs, would the user benefits you offer be superior to theirs?
@irving_ai I'm obviously biased here, but If you are a regular user, you will benefit from higher transparency and privacy. I can't speak for AdsPower, but other solutions like Dolphin Anty track your device by your machine ID, which Donut doesn't do. It also doesn't collect any telemetry as to how many profiles you have or what you do with them. If you are a power user or managing a team, you can lower the costs and receive tailored support for your use-case.

Hi Andy, non-technical user here, I´m currently using multilogin, can I fully automate tasks via MCP?
It's super cool Andy! Being able to set different profiles with their own proxies and cookies is super useful for automating daily processes. Wish you all the best here!

Thank you Jonathan ! :) Yes, but browser automation and profile synchronizer are available as part of the paid plan.
That's really great! It's excellent for developers.
By the way, I wanted to ask: the tool I used previously—Adspower—seems quite similar to yours. Is it a competitor of yours?
