This is sure a very interesting project, but I'm not convinced of the actual usefulness.

In my quick tests, I was impressed of how it put together a quite well-structured report of ~100 pages, citing 100s of sources.

However,

  • As expected from any LLM-generated content, the text was sometimes not precise and not especially clear (see also this article https://fortune.com/2024/12/05/corpora-ai-research-engine/)

  • The fixed structure (e.g. 8 chapters with each 5 "Q&A Summaries" of fixed length for the report) can of course not be optimal for all topics

  • The lack of formulas and diagrams makes it unsuitable for most scientific and technological topics
