Find, test & explore accessible colors βœ” 100s of millions of people live with color deficiency, still, we designers & developers often don't make sure that everyone can use our work. I built Color.review to change that.

Hi everyone! Anton, the maker of color.review here πŸ‘‹ 8% of all men have some kind of color blindness, and plenty more people have other visual deficiencies. But we creators often skip the step to make sure that our creations work for everyone by testing the color accessibility. Color.review was made to help with that. Providing a new interactive way for designers to explore, test & finds colors that are accessible. With unique visual guidelines, a user of the site can quickly identify and tweak their colors to be functional. The tool also interactively changes its colors so that the user in real-time simultaneously can test the visual and accessible aspect. It's free to use for everyone and works with all popular color formats. This is the first public app of mine, and I wanted to give back to the online community I love. What's next: - OS X Menu bar app - Depending on interest, apps for Win, iPhone & Android Would love to hear your feedback on the project, I have put a lot of effort into it and hope it will be a useful tool for everyone. Thank you!

Anton, my congratulations with the launching! I know a lot of color picker tools, and Color.review is a really great one! I'd love to see it in the Awesome Design Tools list over GitHub, it can give you additional users & traffic. You can send a Pull Request here: https://github.com/LisaDziuba/Aw...

I have been sitting next to Anton for a month, seeing him working on this. Such an important problem that more developers / designers need to think about, me included! This really helps and it's so easy to use. Much love.

Pros:

Really slick and performant. I can't wait for the native app to be released. <3

Cons:

Nothing except I have to wait for the native app. :D

Thank you for the kind words PiΓ©rre!

Yes!!! I've been wanting an easy to use app that lets me test various color combinations like this. Would be great to be able to same combos for later use and for comparison.
Anton Robsarve
@anna_0x Thanks! You can kind of save color combinations by visting the direct links in different tabs, such as https://color.review/check/29384... Implementing a much better system for the OS X app though :)

Yeap, definitely amazing! It's simple as an idea (probably more to make it work). But it's really good!
