Greetings ProductHunters, I've been dreaming of this day for over 6 years. I've been obsessed with the idea of #ChatUX, using a natural language chat interface to interact with software. I've tried it multiple times, but the idea was ahead of its time and the technology just wasn't there. Until now. Now we have ChatGPT. So, thrilled to share ChatSpot.ai witih you. It combines the power of ChatGPT and HubSpot CRM and Google Docs/Sheets and keyword research data and company data...and on an on. It's an all-in-one, A.I. powered tool to help you grow better. Would love for you to try it out (it's free, no credit card, with 100 credits to start). Secret Unlock Code: Try typing: "Unlock I Love ProductHunt badge" and get 25 additional credits.

@dharmesh amazing..... can't wait to try it. Unsure where to type in "Unlock I Love ProductHunt badge" to get past the waiting list though?
Sergiu Poenaru
@dharmesh I knew it!!! From your Linkedin posts I knew this had to come to hubspot pretty soon. Also, thank you!
Dharmesh Shah
@christopher_hoang It's not to get past the waitist, it's to get 25 free credits once you're in. The waitlist wait shouldn't be too long. I'm approving users fast and furious (or is that fastly and furiously)?
Dharmesh Shah
@sergiuhkr You guessed correctly. I'm glad I'm finally able to talk about it openly now. It was killing me to try and keep that a secret. :)

@dharmesh how interesting! Loving the possibilities here. We're exploring HubSpot right now, and this is a powerful new feature. Question: what does pricing look like on this? Question 2: would this be unlimited use on Enterprise Sales Hub?

It's so exciting to see you in the community @dharmesh. You serve as an inspiration to all of us creators/builders. Even though HubSpot is by all measures a very successful, large company, you still ship and are part of the community of creators. Just impressive. As someone building in the CRM space with our product with much anticipation, we looked towards this launch. Do you see this in the near future as part of a workflow so it is embedded into my process instead of me typing it in? For example: Before every demo meeting, I get research sent to my inbox or Google Calendar on the person with notes? -- something I wanna build inside LeadDelta. The future is interfaceless. We need fewer manual inputs and more signals. The tech is getting there, and the space of personal relationships and company relationships is about to get disrupted. Super excited! 🔥 And congrats on shipping! 🚀
Dharmesh Shah
@vedranrasic Thanks for the comment. Yes, I do how this could be embedded in a workflow (in fact, that's how I often use it today). There are features I'm using every day that are not part of the public alpha -- yet. Stay tuned. And best wishes with LeadDelta.
Vedran Rasic
@dharmesh that sounds amazing Dharmesh! eating your own dog food! The only way it should be. If you need Alpha(Alpha) testers let me know :) But we are definitely testing this one with our HubSpot. And thank you for your best wishes. Means a ton! 🙏

@dharmesh - First and foremost, the 47th take was just right :) Really excited about the impact of LLMs and generative AI on marketing and sales. Quick question about the cold start problem. For a new Hubspot user that is just getting started, ChatSpot.ai's value is 98% ChatGPT driven and maybe 2% their own Hubspot data-driven. For data-heavy apps, this in the early days, limits the more "personalized" aha moments for the user. Any thoughts on how you are thinking about it for ChatSpot.ai and any recommendations for other data-heavy products that get more useful over time?
Dharmesh Shah
@salil_sethi Actually, the way ChatSpot works is that even when you're starting as a new user, it's an easy/convenient way to start getting data *into* the system. Adding contacts, companies, deals, tickets. And, checking your analytics and performance. Yes, we won't be able to generate true insights until there's enough data -- but ChatSpot's primary goal is to provide a #ChatUX for HubSpot (and other B2B use cases).
Salil Sethi
@dharmesh - Interesting point. Saw that in the first part of your presentation. ChatGPT enables both input and output (I/O) for ChatSpot, which makes sense for the end-user. Was approaching this from my personal product use case. We can only use ChatGPT for the output piece, data comes in from a different source. So will need to continue thinking about how to make the output more personalized.

Very cool! I love the use cases and demo, @dharmesh! We would use this daily to interact with Hubspot (and other software). #noclicks I've heard you mention a more natural interface for using software for years. It is awesome to see you bring this to life!
Dharmesh Shah
@nbanta Between us friends, I've been working on this problem/idea for 17+ years (since even before HubSpot). Now, the technology has finally evolved to a point where we can actually do #ChatUX. I'm super excited.

This must be the best integration of ChatGPT into an existing platform I've seen so far. @dharmesh Since ChatGPT finetuning is not yet available for the masses, I wonder if the learning was achieve by clever prompt and context passing or whether you already have access to finetuning the gpt-3.5-turbo model? Awesome work!
Harry Dry
“Dream big, iterate small” love it! Godspeed, Dharmesh!
Dharmesh Shah
@harrydry Thanks!

Agree with other commenters who've said this is the best implementation of ChatGPT and a real product need that I've seen so far. A lot of marketers who rely on analysts or technical folks to pull particular data or answer specific questions from their marketing/CRM/analytics stack are gonna love this. Q: Can I connect this to social media & content metrics and ask things like: "how many signups would we probably lose if we stopped posting to Twitter?" :-D
Dharmesh Shah
@randfish Hi Rand! Thanks for stopping by. Your point is spot on (no pun intended). Though most are focused on the content generation capabilities, what I'm excited about is #ChatUX. The ability to have a conversation with your software/data. Much narrower, but in many ways, much more useful (and reliable) vs. the public web crawl. And, to answer your question, I do plan to allow integration with social media data sources (starting with twitter...because I'm a glutton for punishment).
