I live in a condo in the city with my partner and needed a way for either of us to be able to let visitors in when they dialed our lobby intercom. My friends had the same problem and wanted the same solution. I hope that this product helps other people in similar situations who need to share their apartment intercom, especially these days with so many food deliveries and online shopping orders!

Wait until you do a competitive analysis and discover https://www.buzzly.co/ and all it's actual features, like secure personalized codes (virtual fobs) for delivery people, airbnb renters,etc... and a bunch of other automation features... FOR $2.50 LESS PER MONTH than what you charge... for the 'my time is worth way more than to build something that already exists, does it well, and does it so inexpensively' crowd. Or Twilio for the no-code crowd who notice they could build buzzly themselves over the weekend. Or Google Voice for the 'it's the same but free and I was never going to pay for this anyway' crowd. Or the tons of other things that could already call forward. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just not sure what the value proposition is for even building this in the first place, let alone to pay $6 a month for it. Is this just a white label of another service with a heavy margin tacked on? And for future features, is a party line a thing anyone has ever wanted at their callbox? Because I think elevating automation and security might be higher on a list of wants and needs... after-all, isn't that the reason there is a callbox in the first place?

@joseph_santoro thanks for your analysis! I appreciate the feedback, especially about the price. I am definitely aware of the competition and believe we all solve an interesting problem faced by people living in dense cities. These services are useful for many and I’m excited to offer my take on the solution. I agree with you that some of us know how to solve these problems easily, especially those in the PH community. However from my experience, this isn’t the majority. Party mode is a timed setting intended for when someone might be having a bunch of visitors where they’re probably letting everyone in anyways. In these situations it can be easy to become distracted from your phone ;) leaving your visitors waiting.
