I like the feature which enables you to choose the type of learning. I'm currently using the Dark Patterns and enjoying it very much. Love the dark mode option too! Well done for creating this!

Thanks for the hunt Ria. Hey everyone, Maker here. Happy to answer any questions you might have. The shortest version of our story is that this in an improved version of a plugin we built a few months ago called MyCognitiveBias. Now you have some advanced features(all for free) and you can learn about Mental Models and Dark Patterns too. Would love to hear what you guys think of it. Thanks

Why should I add this extension to my web browser? Could you mention some advantages please? Thank you.
Radu Judele
@adi_swc Hi Adi, Sure. We built this primarily for ourselves. I wanted to be more exposed to various cognitive biases. I wanted to buy a Cognitive Bias Codex posted but my wife said it would look odd in our house. So we built this because I wanted to have these reminders that we’re not as rational as we like to think we are. Here are 2 reasons why I think you should install it: 1. You get to learn about a Cognitive Bias, a Mental Model or a Dark Pattern every time you open a new tab. If you learn better by repetition, you can set it to show you the same thing for a day. These are topics that we feel are critical in improving decision making and that’s why we picked them. 2. You get a super-powerful bookmark manager. You can import your existing bookmarks or add new ones incredibly easily. You can create folders and search through them very quickly too.  Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks

Hi guys - thanks for creating BrainyTab. Really interesting use of the new tab page, and an obviously fascinating subject. It would be really cool if you could see your progress/learning on the subject. So you could score your understanding of a subject on each new tab page, and then you would build up a knowledge score over time. Great concept, and congratulations on the launch!

One thing stopping me from using this is my avoidance of Google products. Is there some reason it's not also a Firefox extension? Is it harder or more annoying to write extensions for them? ?makers
