This is a really relatable problem. Android and Mac can work together, but it never feels as smooth as it should, so having messaging, calls, files, and notifications all handled locally is a strong pitch. The no-cloud part makes it even more appealing.
Curious, what feature ends up being the one that makes people stick with it first, messaging, file transfer, or notifications?

That’s a great question. Interestingly, what seems to stick the most isn’t the obvious features, it’s the small things that fix everyday annoyances.
During testing, a lot of users coming from other tools mentioned battery drain issues. The main reason was constant reconnect attempts when switching between networks.
We added a WiFi lock feature for this. Once you lock a network, it stays connected and doesn’t keep trying to switch in the background, which helps a lot with battery usage.
The dual SIM support is something people really appreciate, especially if they keep a personal and private number. It lets you clearly see which SIM a call or message is coming from and respond using the right one.
So it’s really these small reliability and usability improvements that make people stick 🙂
The "fully local, no cloud" angle is the real differentiator here — most sync tools become a privacy liability. Curious how the file transfer handles large media (videos, RAW photos)? Speed and reliability on that is usually where these tools live or die for power users.

Great point, this is exactly where most tools struggle.
Since everything runs fully local with no cloud involved, transfer speed mostly depends on your network. In our tests using a WiFi 6 router, we’ve consistently seen around 800 to 900 Mbps, even with large files like videos and RAW photos.
We also focused a lot on reliability. If there is a network interruption, transfers resume from where they stopped if it reconnects within a 5 minute window instead of failing midway.
If you’re moving large media files often, this is actually one of the main use cases we built this for 🙂
this is actually nice tbh. using android with a mac always feels like you’re patching things together with random tools, so having one local app for all this makes a lot of sense. the universal clipboard and whatsapp call handling part especially caught my eye.
curious, what do users end up loving most once they start using it day to day?

Appreciate that, glad it resonates
From what we’ve seen, it’s usually the small day to day things that people end up liking the most.
WiFi lock is a big one. A lot of users coming from other tools had battery drain issues because of constant reconnect attempts. Once they lock a network, it just stays stable and doesn’t keep switching in the background.
Dual SIM handling is another thing people don’t expect but end up appreciating. It just feels more natural when managing calls and messages compared to most tools.
So over time it’s less about one big feature and more about everything working smoothly together without friction

Just to clarify one thing since a few people asked about calling.
Right now, you can view, make, answer, mute and manage calls from your Mac, but you can’t talk directly through the Mac. This is mainly due to Android system limitations around call audio access.
We’ve focused on making syncing, notifications, and reliability solid first, and that’s been the priority so far.
Wanted to be transparent about it

Honestly didn’t expect this kind of traction today. Really appreciate everyone checking it out and leaving thoughtful comments, it means a lot as an indie developer building this without a team.
users are reporting they are loving the wifi lock battery saving, and file transfer speeds.
Still learning a lot from all the feedback here, many features coming soon in the future.
