I killed sprints, standups, and story points at my own company. Then I open-sourced what replaced them.
I'm Arun ā CTO by day, and I built Bodhiorchard alone, nights and weekends, because I was tired of the ceremony. Planning poker that's really just guessing. Tickets that go stale the moment they're written. Confluence pages nobody trusts.
So I asked a different question: what if the process was run by agents, and humans only did the parts that actually need a human?
Bodhiorchard is Agent-Driven Development. 12 specialised AI agents draft the spec, the tech spec, the test plan, and the acceptance criteria ā with full codebase context. You review, refine, and steer. Estimation isn't poker anymore; it's AI-PERT + Monte Carlo confidence dates. Everything for a feature lives in one living document ā a BUD ā instead of scattered across ten tools.
It's open source, Apache 2.0, self-hosted so your data never leaves your machine, and it runs on Claude Code.
I'm not here for upvotes. I want to know if this resonates ā or if I've missed something obvious. If you've ever sat in a standup wondering why, tell me what you'd change.
What's the one piece of "process" you'd kill first?
