On one of my projects, my supervising attorney assigned me to collect documents as part of a litigation. This antiquated, manual process required me to comb through massive email threads, spreadsheets, and multiple folders to find documents. I went to him, frustrated, and I asked if I could find an easier way to collaborate and keep everything in one place. He approved my spending, and when I went out to find a product, everything I encountered was either too complicated to use with too many options or too expensive.
