Here's what we shipped in August:

Marketplace matching: Add richer product and audience details to help your program reach better-fit affiliates.

AI descriptions: Generate a Marketplace listing description from your program profile.
Webhooks: Send readable affiliate-program notifications to Slack or Discord, test a selected event before going live, and redeliver completed events when needed.
Find Email: Spend an email credit only when a lookup finds an address. Misses and failed lookups are refunded automatically.
Referral attribution: View stored UTMs, click IDs, sub-parameters, referrers, and more directly from a referred customer.
Customer privacy: Choose whether affiliates see customer names, email addresses, both, or neither.
Payment terms: Set custom payout instructions for each program and show affiliates the terms that apply to them.
Embedded portal controls: Hide settings entry points in the embedded affiliate portal when they are not needed.

What's great

I use Affonso from the affiliate side: I run Kuponaut, a coupon site for AI and SaaS tools, and joined Affonso's marketplace in October 2026.

What worked: one login for every program, and the self-service coupon feature. In four of the ten programs I applied to, the dashboard showed a "Create coupon" field under the referral link, and I had a reader code live in under a minute. The Success Hub (brief, allowed marketing methods, creative library) answered the questions I usually have to email about.

What could be better: only a small share of programs have self-service coupons switched on, and the portal's auto-translation produced a few odd strings in Turkish.

Disclosure: Affonso offers a small reward for honest reviews; the opinion above is my own experience.

I didn't choose Affonso instead of Rewardful or FirstPromoter; as an affiliate I use all three, because that's where the vendors are. The difference I noticed on Affonso is the shared marketplace (one login, every program listed with commission and payout terms) and the self-service coupon field in the dashboard, which the other two don't offer on the affiliate side.

What's great

Affonso made launching an affiliate program for SEO Rocket really easy. The setup was fast, the pricing fits an early-stage SaaS budget, and the direct payment integrations meant we didn't have to wrestle with workarounds to get tracking right. Founder support is responsive and genuine, and the affiliate finder is a real bonus. We've already had many people sign up as affiliates from it. It's the rare tool that doesn't make you choose between affordable and capable.

vs Alternatives

I looked into a lot of alternatives before landing on Affonso. The established platforms were either priced for companies way past our stage or packed with features we didn't need yet. The cheaper options cut corners on the things that actually matter, like payment integrations and reliable tracking. Affonso was the only one that hit the right balance: real functionality, direct integrations with Stripe, and pricing that made sense for where SEO Rocket is right now.
