Aaply is a wireframe constructor, that helps to work out the logic of the app, plan mobile flows, create wireframes of interface, discuss it online and move to the UI design stage. Big Lego mobile design constructor for apps
πββοΈ Aloha Product Hunt!
Our bootstrap team is happy to introduce you to Aaply. It makes apps happen. It makes your ideas visual and tangible.
Story πΏ
We were designing a mobile startup on a board. When we ran out of space, we decided to ask a designer to continue in Figma, but he was on vacation π€·ββοΈ That inspired us to create a simple tool for wireframing mobile screens and discussing mobile flows.
The problem π
Itβs frustrating to go from an exciting mobile app idea to the final UI design. Thatβs terrifying, there is even a name for it β white sheet syndrome. Anyway, that sucks π
The BIG problems π€―π€―π€―
β Mobile appβs UI design is challenging and hard to comprehend.
β The process of UI fine-tuning requires too much repetitive work.
β High price of a mistake in the beginning (design + content + dev + qa).
β Every time you start from scratch.
β Founders, UXs, PMs depend too much on a designer's skill.
β In case devs canβt implement the final design you need to re-design again.
β¨ The Solution
A visual collaborative tool that makes an early mobile design stage easier and faster for everyone:
Create screens + use wireframe constructor + templates + copy blocks + divide your app into logical groups + plan mobile flows + duplicate for alternative variations + discuss and approve the best one!
Design draft mobile app in Figma: 3 days. Make first iteration in Aaply: 30 min β‘
π Insights + value
We learned a lot from our moms and dads, but we learned even more from various design teams and solo designers.
β1. You better plan a mobile strategy (engagement, retention) before you jump to UI.
β2. Variability in mobile patterns allows you to find usable, balanced variations of the future app.
β3. The earlier you discuss the whole app with your team β the lower the risks.
β4. Common templates of mobile apps collected in your libraries allow you to save a lot of time.
β5. One option is never enough. Brainstorming over several flows helps you find the best one!
β6. The impact on improving the product experience is much more effective when you work with logically grouped mobile flows (rather than separate screens).
β7. Design process speed up: collect the scope in Notion β visualize app ideas in Aaply β design approved on in Figma (integration is coming soon!).
ποΈ Vision
We believe in valuable changes β we want to create things that matter.
We believe that everyone can make apps happen β thatβs why we gonna keep our tool 100% free for everyone π as long as possible.
Make your app happen π
β Cool design
β very handy onboarding. at first I didn't see the step confirmation button at the top and didn't understand what to do next - it would be more convenient for me if I was automatically moved to the next step when the task is done
β I really like the language on the page and in the interface - it is very user-friendly.
β It's convenient that you can specify the status of each screen and add notes
β the grouping of wyframes is very useful. It would be even better if you could select the color of the group
β the button type selection is buggy - the list scrolls instead
β I would like to be able to add links from buttons - in cases when there are several buttons on the screen and it is necessary to split them into different userflows (it can be done through comments on the links, but with lines from the buttons it is more clear)
The app is great and has a great user interface! I'm just having a difficulty on user experience while clicking the block library (It's showing outside my screen area, i have to zoom out my browser just to access the library). The product can be more better if it could have a different way of exporting and way of prototyping. Overall, this is a great help for me!
