Claude Assistant

Hello Product Hunt! Allow me to introduce Claude Assistant for Alexa. I'm hoping we have some Alexa users here who can put it through its paces! Lying in bed one evening, a thought popped into my head. Half asleep and phone out of reach, I asked Alexa “What is the universe expanding into?”. Of course, Alexa wasn’t helpful at all, and I had to open my trusty Claude app on my phone. Over the next few weeks this happened more and more often, until I thought “Why not give Alexa the ability to chat to Claude?”. I set about building it, just for me and my girlfriend. I gradually added more and more features including ability to call a Weather API, and most recently the ability to search the web to respond with the most up to date information. The build was more complex than I first imagined and so I offered it on the Alexa Skill store imagining it would save others the trouble. Several months later I have around 20 users who have been consistently using the skill and who are subscribed for a small fee of $2.99 per month. The fee unlocks unlimited conversation with Claude, which is otherwise limited to a few uses per day - the Claude API is not cheap! I’m now hoping to share my creation and accept feedback from a wider audience. Thank you for your interest.
