How many hours have you spent making slides? Researching, finding images, iterating, polishing...

Thats why we created Cursor for Slides -- full decks with your ideas, thorough citations, royalty free images, charts, and full exportability to PPTX or PDF (gdocs coming soon!).

Google Slides, Powerpoint, or even AI tools like Gamma are great for laying out ideas once you have the right content...but not good at helping you RESEARCH, ORGANIZE, AND SYNTHESIZE the right content.

Everything in Deckt is fully editable - so you can have AI rewrite a slide for you, add a new slide on an idea you just thought of, or put a whole deck together. It does detailed web research, leverages a range of LLMs to generate important take-aways, and it always shows its work and citations.

We hope you enjoy using Deckt as much as we did creating it, and are curious what you'd like it to do next!

Upvoted! As someone who creates several decks for sales meetings each week, I’m really excited to explore this. Great idea, Zack. Congrats and good luck with the launch, @zhendlin!

@zhendlin  @chaosandcoffee thanks Furqaan! The number of times I’ve had to create a deck and needed to do a bunch of research along the way, I’ve lost track of. Trying to make it easier for folks to spend less time cutting and pasting.

Thanks for the comment!

The research and synthesis focus addresses the real-time sink in slide creation. How does it handle conflicting information from different sources? Consider adding source quality indicators to help users evaluate citations. @zhendlin

@rachitmagon Thanks for the comment - that is a great idea, and right now more common 'overlapping' data points would basically be upweighted but source authority is a good way to continue to strengthen this. For now, you can always click on a source's link to see the details behind the source and the citation.

@zhendlin Got it, thanks for the explanation.
