Hi everyone!

Grok Imagine finally has an API!

Those videos on X coming from Grok Imagine... really show that this model has a very distinct, almost "wild" flavor.👽

Now we can build products on top of this creative baseline.

The latency and cost look really good for production use. It also handles video editing and audio natively, which simplifies the pipeline a lot.

The docs and playground are open. It is time to see if the "wildness" translates to some interesting real products.

Grok 3 is interesting, sometimes fun, sometimes sharp but doesn't feel like the AI you’d rely on every day for serious coding or deep work yet. It’s more like a confident friend who talks big and has good moments, rather than the quiet expert who always gets things right.

Grok is great for anime and manga styles uniquely more than the others imo so it's good to see this kind of thing (also the loosest on censoring, I think)

Does Grok Imagine API let you pin model versions, especially when add/remove objects and native audio need to stay consistent across runs? I've had creative workflows drift after silent model updates. Clear versioning plus safety knobs make this much easier to ship.
