Why We Built This Our team wanted to track what action items we were each responsible for—not just tickets. We tried several project management platforms but abandoned them because updating both tickets AND tasks created more work than it was worth. That's why we built AI Task Management- to provide task management for Zendesk teams without requiring double entry. How It Works AI Task Management uses AI to analyze ticket comments and automatically capture action items. These tasks can be seen and managed from a hub interface for organization across your instance. Tasks associated with a specific ticket can be seen and managed in the sidebar interface. There is NO implementation necessary to benefit from AI Task Management. Install the app and it immediately goes to work capturing tasks mentioned in comments made from then on. Key Features AI-Powered Task Capture: AI analyzes comments to identify tasks and can mark them complete when agents note completion. Agents can still manually create tasks when needed. Task Views: Organize all tasks from a single hub. Configure views to filter, sort, and customize displayed information (like ticket ID, assignee, organization). Sidebar Access: Find ticket-specific tasks in the sidebar without digging through conversations. Task Assignment & Due Dates: Assign tasks to any agent (including light agents) and set due dates to prioritize effectively. Export Capabilities: Export customizable task spreadsheets from the navbar interface. Smart Tagging: Tickets with incomplete tasks are tagged to appear in an "Unsolved Tickets with Incomplete Tasks" ticket view.
