🌿 Why I Built This
I built CornStarch AI after three moments that shook me.
First, my twin sister broke out in a severe rash from a skin cream. We later discovered it contained an FDA-recalled chemical she was dangerously allergic to. She had spent hours trying to decode the label — but it read like a science textbook.
Then, I started having gut issues. A friend mentioned glycemic sensitivity, so I checked my go-to yogurt. Just milk and water, right? Wrong. The third ingredient was modified cornstarch. I’d been eating it daily—and it was wrecking my stomach.
Finally, when I built the first beta of the app, I scanned my allergy meds — pills I’d trusted for years without a second thought.
