@mwamedacenI really like the idea of making an AI assistant available in just one click – that’s super cool. But I feel like there should be fewer barriers for users. Ideally, people should be able to try it hands-on before linking a payment card. Personally, before I set a reminder to cancel auto-renewal, I’d prefer to experience the actual value of the product first. I get that AI tokens cost money upfront, but still... just my two cents – maybe it works well for others right away.

how is it made aware of the context? I saw the demo vid and it looks neat, but I'm wondering how it works in terms of data privacy. Does it use screen capture/OCR for the AI to process it?

So you’ve got the right concept, to generate the best possible answer, 1Stroke needs to understand what you're responding to, but it only captures context when you click “Reply with AI” on a specific webpage. You can review exactly what permissions we require in the Chrome Web Store listing. Respect for privacy is essential to us, and we are transparent about what the extension can access.
Your data is processed through our Supabase-hosted backend, which has passed comprehensive security audits. We don't store your queries or responses, and our team has no intention (or practical way) to access your personal communications. The AI only receives the context needed to craft a good response in one stroke, without unnecessary personal information (unless you specifically include it in the "fine-tuning" page in the portal).
