Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Karan here, me and my friends are building Candora

Candora is an AI-led technical interviewing platform that feels like you are talking to a real engineer.

Today’s recruiting is broken.
Candidates optimize for perfect final solutions because take-homes demand it, and live interviews depend too much on the mood of a tired or distracted interviewer. So more people are resorting to shortcutting or 'cheating'.
We've lost focus on what actually matters: finding strong problem solvers and good builders.

-------------------------------
Candora is built to change that.

Atlas, our conversational AI, leads live interviews. It reads your code, sees your whiteboard, understands your experience, and pushes your thinking in real time.
After the interview, you get structured feedback across technical depth, systems thinking, collaboration, communication, and much more.

For companies, Candora helps scale early interviews without burning engineering time.
For job seekers, it lets you practice real interviews without scheduling or expensive mock sessions.

Try one of our interviews for free at candora.ai/try. Refer your friends in the candidate dashboard to get more full-length mocks.

We have tons more coming soon like project-style + pair programming interviews.

Would love to hear your thoughts! Cheers🙂

Just tried a system design super cool. love that it asks followups for my decisions and tracks my work.

if you can pull off a pair programming interview with this concept that would actually be huge

Karan Parikh

@albert__lu That's the plan- we're gonna get there as fast as possible. It'll be like they were working for the company for a couple hours to see how they work on day-to-day stuff

Clean! Haven't brushed up interviewing in a while so couldn't figure out the answer haha but it surprisingly gave me a decent score cause of problem solving. This could fix a lot of issues with the current process - so do you guys have anticheat? Or kinda free reign cause the way you evaluate is less focused on the answer?

Karan Parikh

@case1234 We do have an anti cheat in our company solution but our philosophy is for this to not become some race between candidate and company. We really think that even with AI there's so much value in the 'human brain' that we can detect through an interview and look for ability over just final answers
