A more powerful google doc for handling your needs for AI assisted writing. Memory based approach to ensure the AI never loses the context of your writing
I fell in love with AI writing assistants when they first gained popularity. The concept is brilliant: writing often stalls not because we lack ideas, but because translating thoughts to words takes time.
But something always felt missing. I watched fellow students juggle between Google Docs and AI chatbots, constantly switching contexts and copying text back and forth. The AI had zero knowledge about their existing document or what they were trying to accomplish. Even worse, the AI didn't have any memory of their writing style or academic requirements.
Flow is my attempt at solving the real problem. I built an editor where AI assistance is integrated directly into your writing environment. Flow can see your entire document, understand your context, and offer completions that actually match your voice. You can use quick autocomplete suggestions or chat with the AI to insert full paragraphs — all without leaving your document.
Flow is still in its early version — we plan to add more customization options and improve response quality in the coming months. But I already find it genuinely helpful for my own writing, especially when starting from scratch. It shines most when you're working on real documents with specific goals, not just testing with random prompts.

@hi_caicai Insert into documents should work as expected! Our editor is in fact open sourced so we are trying our best to make AI tool use more simplified. Thank you for the feedback!
@daniel_fu Looking forward to it! Also, the toolbar in the editor isn't very stable when invoked. This part is still very necessary if it's actually used, and I hope it can be continuously optimized.

I love this!! I don’t love any of the current ai writing options so this is a breath of fresh air.
