For this release, I wanted to make the AI Resume Screener not just delightful, but also powerful to use. Every pixel, color, and interaction was crafted to make the hiring flow feel seamless and intuitive.

The goal? Help recruiters save time and streamline the entire hiring process from screening all the way to interviews.

We’ve been working on a new piece of our hiring pipeline.

Resume screeners have existed for years, but most stop at keyword search. We wanted something deeper.

So we built the Hyring AI Resume Screener. It looks at skills, tenure, career gaps, and company background, then generates a Fit Score. That way, strengths and gaps are clear, and it’s easy to see who’s ready for an interview.

From there, candidates flow directly into our AI Phone Screener and AI Video Interviewer, so the whole process stays structured and automated end-to-end.

Hi everyone 👋 I’m Gowtham, one of the makers behind Hyring’s AI Resume Screener.

On the engineering side, the most interesting challenge was making the Fit Score flexible. Instead of fixed rules, we built it so recruiters can decide what matters — skills, tenure, gaps, or company background — and the AI weighs those dynamically.

We also worked hard on the integrations so candidates move smoothly from resume screening into the AI Phone and Video Screeners without recruiters having to switch tools.

For me, it’s exciting because it’s more than just parsing resumes — it’s about building a system that adapts to how you hire. 🚀 Would love to know which parts of the workflow you’d use most.
