👋 Hey everyone!

I'm excited to share GitReleaseNotes, a small passion project born out of a common struggle I've faced while trying to keep my communities updated with the latest product changes: writing proper release notes. 📝

Every time we shipped a new version, we'd end up making tons of changes, and someone (usually me 😅) would have to stay behind, track everything, and write it all down for our audience. Not exactly the most fun thing to do after a full day of coding and managing servers.

So, I built a solution! 🚀

GitReleaseNotes is a simple website that connects to your GitHub account and lets you select the commits you'd like to build a release note from. The tool relies on your commit titles being descriptive enough (but don't worry, you can manually tweak them before sending them to the AI for processing 🤖). With just one click, you get a well-formatted, detailed release note in multiple formats like Markdown, XML, JSON, and more.

✅ No need to manually track changes ✅ No ads, completely free ✅ Supports up to 10 generations per day to prevent API misuse ✅ Just copy and paste the result to your community platform of choice 🎯

I'd love to hear your thoughts on what you liked, what could be improved, and any features you'd love to see in future updates.

Your support means the world to me as this is my first proper website release. An upvote would be greatly appreciated! 🚀✨

Thanks for checking it out! 🙌

Hey this is dope I'm surprised it doesn't have more traction! Does it only use commit titles or can it use pull request notes as well?
