Lately, I’ve been learning more about AI models, and I wanted to test my knowledge by building something small. Instead of starting from scratch, I decided to apply AI to something I already find useful: the Five Whys Method (originally from Toyota).

The Five Whys is a simple but effective way to get to the root cause of a problem—by asking “Why?” multiple times, you dig deeper and avoid just fixing the symptoms. But I’ve always found that in practice, it’s hard to stay objective and structured.

So, as a small experiment, I built The Five Whys, an AI-powered tool that helps guide the process:
