Very interesting. Can the AI be trained on company data? Or how will it know what to answer users? If yes, is it an isolated database? Or is it just a form, and we have to connect the AI ourselves?
Jotform
@mykyta_semenov_ Thank you for the comment! The AI is trained on the data you provide. You can connect company-specific content like your Canva page text, forms, documents, or other resources so the chatbot knows exactly what it should (and shouldn’t) answer.
Each chatbot uses its own knowledge base, and everything is managed within Jotform.
Beyond basic questionnaires, it’s impressive to see it support payment processing, report generation and workflow automation, making it an all-around tool. For forms that require complex logical branching (e.g., showing different questions based on different answers), is the conditional logic setup intuitive, or does it come with a certain learning curve?
Jotform
@qwang_dazee Great question, conditional logic in Jotform is designed to be very approachable, even for complex flows. You can set it up visually from the Conditions panel in the Form Builder by choosing the logic type you need (show/hide fields, skip pages, update values, etc.) and defining the rules step by step.
For more advanced forms with multiple branches, we usually recommend building and testing incrementally to keep things predictable and avoid conflicts. Most users find that once they understand the basic pattern, scaling to more complex logic feels very natural.

Congrats on the launch! Making Canva pages conversational instead of static feels like a natural next step, especially for lead capture and self-serve flows. How does the chatbot decide when to answer directly versus pushing someone toward a form, booking, or other next step, and how much control do creators have over that decision logic?
Jotform
@vik_sh Thank you! Creators have full control over this.
The chatbot is configured to either answer questions directly or guide visitors toward a form, booking, or next step based on the rules and goals you define during setup. It can stay purely informational or become action-oriented when needed, without feeling pushy.
The idea is to keep conversations natural while still driving meaningful outcomes.
It’s amazing that you can turn a static Canva design into a live, interactive experience. It feels like the design is actually talking back to you! I’m really curious if the AI can handle specific questions about the elements in the design, or if it just answers general FAQs.
Jotform
@yp_john Thanks a lot! If you create a new chatbot for a Canva page, it can automatically learn from the text inside the design itself, so it’s not limited to general FAQs.
That means it can answer questions that are specific to the content on the page, and creators can always add or refine knowledge to keep responses accurate and on-brand.
I love that visitors can get answers and take action without ever leaving the page. It’s such a smart way to keep people engaged with your content. I wonder if it’s easy to set up like, can you just drag and drop the chatbot into any Canva template, or does it require some extra steps to link them?
Jotform
@theaxx Thanks for the comment! Setup is designed to be very simple. You add the chatbot directly from Canva Apps and place it into your design without any code.
From there, you either connect an existing Jotform AI Agent or create a new one in a few quick steps, so it feels drag-and-drop in Canva, with the AI logic handled behind the scenes.
Does the chatbot automatically re-train if I update the text within my Canva project, or do we need to trigger a sync?
Jotform
@lightninglx Great question. At the moment, the chatbot learns from the Canva content during setup, and if you make significant changes later, you’ll want to re-sync to make sure it reflects the latest text.
We’re actively exploring ways to make this more seamless as we continue evolving the product.
