Almost every site I’ve built needed a calculator somewhere, and every time I hit the same three bad options: hunt for a plugin, pay a developer for something a visitor uses once, or skip it. Calcupedia is the tool I wished existed.

What it is: one library of 2,400+ calculators and unit converters (finance, health, math, construction, conversions) and three ways to use it:

Use it: every calculator is free on calcupedia.io, no account needed.

Embed it: pick a calculator, style it to match your site, paste one line of code. Your first embed is free; extra embeds are $1/month each.

Connect it to AI: Calcupedia is an MCP server, so Claude and other MCP clients can find the right calculator and run it with the site’s own formulas.

The part I didn’t expect: when I first connected it, Claude mostly ignored the tools and did the math in its head. So I built something it can’t do on its own: a live calculator card that shows up right in the chat. Change a number and it recalculates, no re-prompting.
