Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm [Mitesh], maker of MindBloom. Why I built it: I wanted AI reflections in my journal. When you're stuck, a gentle question back can unlock a lot. But every AI journaling app I tried sent entries to a cloud AI. For something as personal as a diary, that felt wrong. So we built MindBloom around a different rule: your journal never leaves your phone, and neither does the AI. You download a [Llama-based] model once, and it generates reflections on-device, even in airplane mode. A few principles we held to: AI is optional. The free version is a full journal: prompts, photos, mood tracking, app lock and offline use. AI only runs when you tap it, and only sees the entry you choose. It never sees your photos, voice recordings or past entries. Every reflection is a draft. Accept it, edit it or throw it away. It never writes for you. Being upfront about what isn't on-device: sign-in, subscription status and app config go through our servers. That's all. What I'd love feedback on: How the reflections feel. Helpful, or too generic?
