Melete AI: Personal AI for Chasing People, Refunds & General Work

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Yashas, and I built Melete because of all the small things I kept dropping. Each small thing like writing an email, submitting an application kept compiling and deadlines kept approaching, imagine an agent that has your context and does it for you. None of those tasks were hard. They just needed someone to keep at it: send the email, wait a few days, check, follow up, remember what was promised. Every AI assistant I tried left that part to me. They'd write a great first email, and then the thread went quiet and so did they. So Melete is built around the follow-through: • Connect your inbox and it maps what's open: who owes you money, what renews soon, what's waiting on a reply • Tap "Handle it" and it drafts the message, shows you exactly what will go out, and sends only when you approve • Then it waits. A reply wakes it up, and silence gets a polite follow-up • It remembers what you tell it, and when you correct it once, it does it your way the next time • Every step shows up in the chat, so you always know what it did and why It's open source. You run it yourself, with whichever AI model you like. It's early and there are rough edges. For now, connecting email needs an app password.
