Most online music tools make you upload your files to a server, wait in a queue, or pay before you can use them. MusicTool takes the opposite approach: every audio task runs locally in your browser using WASM, so your files never leave your machine and results are instant.
Hi everyone, I'm the maker behind MusicTool.
I built this because I got tired of jumping between five different websites just to check the BPM of a track, find its key, change the pitch, and trim a clip. Each site had a different login, a different upload limit, and a different paywall.
So I made one place where all those small music tasks live. The key difference: everything runs locally in your browser via WASM. No file uploads, no server queue, no waiting. You drag in a track and the analysis happens instantly on your own CPU.
The core tools — BPM & key finder, tap tempo, chord progression, speed/pitch, trim, MIDI editor — are free and don't require an account. There's also an AI lyrics studio with six models and a royalty calculator if you need them.
I'd love to hear what tools you wish existed in one place, or what your workflow looks like when you're working on a track. Happy to answer any questions.
